Counseling

Picture
A person is a fluid process, not a fixed and static entity; a flowing river of change, not a block of solid material. - Carl Rogers

If you've landed on this page, there's probably something about your life you wish were different. I provide an accepting, compassionate, and judgment-free zone where we can collaborate to figure out what is holding you back and discover a better way forward. Whether you are having a rough time with a recent transition, feeling overwhelmed, been ultimatumed ("You need therapy!"), or ready to tackle the demons of your past, I can help.

The best way to figure out if we are a good fit is to give me a call. 719 749 8281. You can also email me to set up a time to talk- dani.bostick@gmail.com.

Otherwise, you'll find a brief description of some of what I do below.

Pet Bereavement

Our pets are our most loyal companions, providing us unconditional acceptance and unwavering love. When their time with us comes to an end, it can be devastating.

I will be with you through this difficult time and can:

  • Help you prepare for your pet's passing (if it is planned)
  • Provide you both a safe space to grieve and tools to calm down enough to function on the day of your pet's passing
  • Facilitate difficult conversations about death if you are part of a family with children
  • Walk with you through your time of grief
  • Help you identify and celebrate your pet's legacy
  • Support you as you adjust to life without your best friend

For pet bereavement, I work with individuals, families and couples, both in my office and in your home.

Relationship Repair

Do you have a relationship you wish were more fulfilling and harmonious?

Couples therapy is not limited to romantic partners.

I can also help parents reconnect with children who have grown distant due to divorce and other life circumstances. I work with friends, business partners, and teammates as well. I provide a fair, structured space for you to work through conflict and turn your relationship into an asset instead of a liability.

Sometimes a relationship can't be mended. Whether you've already ended a relationship or are contemplating ending one, I can help you process what that means and find a more satisfying way forward.

Athletes in Transition

It can be overwhelming to face an athletic career has come to an end-- or is on hold-- due to injury or other circumstances.  I can help you with this transition.
